ROLE OVERVIEWOur Accounting team is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail, ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to learn and lead in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading key areas of the close process, performing complex accounting analyses, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role serves as a resource to junior staff and contributes to process improvements and technical accounting matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Lead month-end close process of their functional area and review journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform complex accounting analyses and variance reviews.
- Ability to interpret and present on variance reviews and other analytics to senior leadership.
- Support documentation and execution of accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Respond to financial and accounting inquiries by coordinating and reviewing the gathering and analysis of large sets of data.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation.
- Mentor and review work of Staff Accountants.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend efficiency enhancements.
- Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, including Big Four (Big 4) public accounting experience required or equivalent experience with a public accounting firm or public company environment.
- Experience operating under a SOX environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas (xlookup, sumif, etc), and PowerBI preferred).
- Netsuite and Blackline experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, take direction, and develop professionally.
- Experience reviewing work and monitoring staff.
- Adaptability and openness to feedback.

COMPENSATION: $90,000 - $105,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan
