This role will report into the Sr. Director, Americas Finance, with exposure to the Controller and broader finance leadership

An opportunity to join during a period of change following a recent private equity transaction and help strengthen the accounting infrastructure needed to support continued growth
LOCATION
Charlotte, NC
WHAT THEY OFFER YOU
Significant ownership across general ledger accounting, accounts payable, banking, accruals, prepaids, debt, intercompany activity, and balance sheet reconciliations
The opportunity to step into a high-impact accounting role where your work will directly strengthen the accuracy and efficiency of the month-end close
A chance to help build and document scalable accounting procedures rather than simply inherit established processes
Exposure to NetSuite within an organization that is still developing how it utilizes the platform across its finance function
The ability to partner with finance leadership on AP technology, vendor management, automation, and other process-improvement initiatives
An opportunity to help identify accounting issues and reconciliation concerns before final close review and bring recommended solutions to leadership
Potential to take on greater team leadership responsibilities as the accounting organization grows and additional staff are added
Exposure to a global, multi-entity organization undergoing meaningful change following a recent private equity transaction
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
The accounting organization is operating with a lean structure, and this position will provide needed senior-level ownership across several critical areas of the close
A major focus will be reviewing accounts payable, accruals, prepaid expenses, banking activity, debt, intercompany transactions, and related balance sheet accounts to ensure they are accurate and completed on time
Rather than simply preparing transactions, this person will serve as an important review layer, identifying accounting issues, reconciliation concerns, and potential risks before they reach final close review
Month-end responsibilities include reviewing accrual schedules, bank reconciliations, AP aging, prepaid schedules, fixed and intangible assets, debt activity, and supporting balance sheet reconciliations
The role will help strengthen vendor management and AP processes by establishing more consistent procedures, workflows, controls, and standard operating documentation
As the organization continues developing its finance infrastructure, there will be opportunities to improve how technology and automation are used across AP, reconciliations, close, and reporting

The business needs someone capable of operating with limited hand-holding, taking ownership of their responsibilities, and helping alleviate pressure on a finance team managing significant deliverables
With continued growth, the position is being structured with the potential to review the work of Staff Accountants and develop into greater people leadership responsibility over time
