Honeywell Process Automation (PA) has an exciting opportunity for someone who loves a challenge and leading a team of sales professionals. The position is in Calgary or Edmonton, AB and will be primarily responsible for developing, managing, and growing sales inside a set of accounts in the Canada West region with industrial automation customers. If you have experience selling a broad range of Automation solutions including, PLC/DCS, QCS, Instrumentation, Industrial Software Solutions, System Integration and service, we would like to speak with you!

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales growth inside a set of named accounts within the Canada West branch/region
  • Develop, own, and execute Account Action Plans based on Canada West Regional Business Plan (owned by Sr. Sales Manager)
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly Orders and provide quarterly 'Walk to Plan' for the named account base
  • Drive Solution Sales process methodology excellence to achieve world class results.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a high energy collaborative growth culture inside named Accounts business
  • As part of the Account & Territory Plans, develop specific activities and coordinate proper company resources to ensure revenue growth in all PA Lines of Business (LOBs).
  • Travel 50% of time


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 7+ years of portfolio sales, and /or business development experience in one or more of the following vertical markets: oil/gas, refining, power, energy, biofuels, mining, chemical, pulp and paper, industrial automation, sheet manufacturing and controls.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Previous account management experience
  • Proven successful track record of at least 7 years of solution selling
  • Demonstrated ability to build account and territory plans that ensure long term success
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a complex sales environment
  • Successful market growth preferably in solution selling of systems, software and/or services, process automation, applications, or information technology of industrial control products and services
  • Positive track record calling on customer's plant management, upper management, and VP levels
  • Demonstrated success in developing accounts and winning in complex solutions environment
  • Utilize account management software tools to keep complete and current information on customers resulting in effective territory prioritization.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
