Job summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as a strategic partner for key clients within our Claims Solutions practice. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and partnering with internal claims leadership to support successful implementations, operational performance, and long-term account retention.

The Senior Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, working closely with claims teams, operations leaders, and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives, resolve complex service needs, and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience. This position requires deep claims industry knowledge, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to confidently communicate with clients at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned strategic client accounts
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships through regular communication, business reviews, and proactive account management
  • Lead client onboarding activities and support successful implementation and transition of new accounts
  • Partner with internal claims leadership to ensure operational performance aligns with client expectations and service commitments
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve client issues, manage escalations, and deliver effective solutions
  • Monitor account performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Facilitate client meetings, operational reviews, and strategic planning discussions
  • Maintain accurate account documentation, service plans, and client communications
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business objectives and claims programs to provide strategic guidance
  • Support client retention initiatives by delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in claims administration, claims leadership, or account management required
  • Experience working for a third-party administrator (TPA), insurance carrier, insurance brokerage, or claims organization required
  • Strong understanding of commercial claims operations and claims administration required
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and serving as the primary contact for strategic accounts required
  • Experience leading client implementations, account transitions, or ongoing service delivery initiatives required
  • Previous experience as a Claims Supervisor, Claims Manager, Account Manager, or similar leadership role highly beneficial
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with executive-level clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-profile accounts and competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or account management systems beneficial

Education and licenses:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field beneficial
  • Professional insurance designations such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications beneficial
