SQL Developer

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL Developer to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a SQL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our databases and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop SQL databases and data systems for storing, retrieving, and analyzing large amounts of data

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Develop and maintain database structures, tables, and views

- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues

- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls and backups

- Create and maintain technical documentation for databases and data systems

- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Train and mentor junior developers on SQL best practices and database design principles

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles

- Experience with database development tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, or MySQL Workbench

- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
