$38.95/hr.
E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S- Reviews patient's medical record regarding history, diagnosis, and precautions prior to providing treatment for inpatients and outpatients to determine appropriate tools and equipment are available prior to any treatment session.
- Evaluates patient needs using objective tests and measurements.
- Implements age appropriate therapies, functional activities, and programs per patient plan of care.
- Makes arrangements or recommendations for continued therapy needs or a maintenance program upon discharge with written instruction as needed.
- Responsible for completing all daily documentation and billing procedures promptly and accurately.
- Provides effective verbal and/or written instructions with demonstration as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
E D U C A T I O N- Graduation from an American Speech, Language and Hearing Association accredited Speech Language Pathology program required.
- Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
E X P E R I E N C E - Previous Speech Language Pathology experience in a hospital and/or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
C R E D E N T I A L S - Must have a current, valid Wyoming Speech Language Pathology license and must be in good standing with the Wyoming State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Must have a certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or must be working towards eligibility and must obtain certificate upon eligibility.
- Must have current, valid Basic Life Support credential (BLS), or obtain within the first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with Ivinson.
