Full Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care:
  • Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment referred to Speech Language Pathology.
  • The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.
  • Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
  • Ensures that all patients are supported in reaching their maximum potential through high-quality care and contributions to medical management provided by the Speech-Language Pathologist, while also promoting the therapist's ongoing professional growth and contributions to the medical center.

Shift: Full time- 40 hours per week- Dayshift- Monday -Friday

Education: Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.

Work Experience
  • Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
  • Infant feeding/swallowing experience required.
  • Acute care experience preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $37.02/hour - Maximum $61.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
