Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support the delivery of speech and language services to students in a school-based environment.
Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help implement treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and contribute to students' communication and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined by the supervising SLP
Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
Support students in improving communication skills, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
Prepare therapy materials and assist in maintaining student progress records
Document student performance and provide feedback to the supervising SLP
Work collaboratively with educators and special education teams to support classroom integration
Adapt activities and therapy methods to meet the developmental needs of students
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid state SLPA license or certification as required by the state board
Experience working with children or in a school setting is highly preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain accurate records
Passion for helping children succeed in communication and academics
