Full Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Morrison, CO.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Position Details
  • Full-time and part-time school-based opportunities available
  • Openings available across Jeffco Public Schools in the Morrison area
  • Student assignments may include elementary (K-5), middle school (K-8), or high school (9-12) based on district needs
  • Provide individualized speech-language therapy, conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment recommendations, and support student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to participate in IEP development, service planning, and ongoing student support
  • Complete required documentation, maintain service records, and perform case management responsibilities as assigned
  • Guaranteed paid hours include direct services, report writing, documentation, planning, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
  • Fully on-site, in-person positions with balanced, manageable caseloads
  • Receive continued collaboration and professional support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team
  • Competitive compensation of $65-$80+ per hour, with full-time earning potential of approximately $2437-$3000+ per week

Requirements

Qualifications
    • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
    • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
    • National License: ASHA
    • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
    • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
    • CF-SLP placement may be available
    • Experience working with children
    • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Proficient in use of technology
    • Fingerprint background clearance
    • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications.


Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
