Facility Name:  Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts
Job Title:  Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Type:  Fulltime, nonexempt, supports LTACH and SNF settings (same location)
Schedule: Days, 4 - 5 days a week shift availability, Weekday/Weekend/Holiday flexible scheduling available

*Our team provides Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) services in-house. Training and competency development are available for candidates eager to expand their clinical skills.

 

How you’ll contribute 

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to address their needs. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families on therapy goals and techniques, and accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The SLP collaborates closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Prior experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

What we’re looking for 

Applicants should have 

  • Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
  • CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)
