About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Speech Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct compliant formalized and dynamic assessments to determine educational eligibility and level of functioning
• Complete observations, evaluations, annual reviews, and triennial assessments
• Develop and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members to support educational benefit
• Consult and collaborate with team members and families to maximize generalization of communication skills
• May oversee and support Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), including supervision and professional development support
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy notes, assessment data, and student progress
• Utilize research-based data collection and reporting practices
• Coordinate time off requests during school breaks to minimize disruption to student services
