ETO Salary Schedule Rate Range:

  • $64,711.58 - $122,591.66 (2025-2026)
  • Will be updated per ETO CBA Salary Schedule 2026-2027

Required Qualifications:

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position

Examples of Duties:

This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary and without notice. Depending upon individual assignments, the teacher performs all or a combination of several of the following duties:

  • Screens students to determine if further assessment is needed
  • Assesses student's communication skills (e.g., articulation, fluency, hearing, voice, language) to identify communication disorders, determine program eligibility, and develop treatments recommendations
  • Develop IEPs meetings Washington State Rules and Regulations
  • Provides speech and language therapy to students to minimize the adverse impact of speech and language disorders on student success
  • Facilitates meetings and processes for eligible students (e.g., testing/screening, IEPs, parent/guardian conferences, pre-referral staffing, etc.) to present evaluation results, develop treatment plans, and/or provide training to parents/guardians/students, and staff
  • Collaborates/consults with parents/guardians, teachers, physicians, administrators, team members, and other professionals to develop plans
  • The safety and health of students and others are essential functions of this position
  • Other duties as assigned
