Boston Speech Therapy is looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a public elementary school. In this role, you will work with young children who are facing challenges related to speech, language, and communication skills. This is a full-time position offering a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and utilized effectively. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions aimed at improving communication abilities.
Responsibilities: - Evaluate and diagnose individuals with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide effective therapy sessions to enhance communication skills
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals
- Document client progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology
Requirements - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative spirit and ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in utilizing technology and software related to speech-language therapy
BenefitsThis is a 1099 position with an hourly pay of $75-$80 per hour.
