About the Role:
Provide speech-language therapy support services to students in a school-based setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, supporting communication development, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed academically and socially.

What You'll Do:
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
  • Develop therapy materials for verbal and non-verbal learners (AAC devices, visual icons, communication boards)
  • Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to students' functional levels
  • Support students and families by fostering resilience, positivity, and engagement
  • Maintain accurate data collection, therapy notes, and documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service delivery
  • Follow guidelines for scheduling time off to minimize disruption to school operations

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license (or eligibility) in the state of California
  • DOJ/FBI background check clearance (or equivalent)
  • TB clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and communication supports
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Physical Demands:
  • Occasional exposure to environmental elements such as dust, pollen, and fumes
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in moderate to high noise environments and perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices
