Responsibilities

  • Escalate issues to the Clinical Manager as needed
  • Participate as a member of the Clinical Services team during scheduled shifts

  • Directly manage team members during shifts, including scheduling and resource sharing
  • Serve as first responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Train and mentor new clinical team members

Full Job Description
Veterinary Clinical Supervisor (Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Ophthalmology)

What you'll do:
  • Escalates issues to Clinical Manager
  • Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
  • Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs
  • Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift
  • Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:
  • Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
  • Assigns team member responsibilities per shift
  • Addresses process or employee issues during their shift
  • Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
  • Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Trains and mentors new team members
  • Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
  • Participates in on-call responsibilities
  • Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely


Who you are:

  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
