The Manager will collaborate with key business partners across Technology, Actuarial, Project Management, and Finance to evaluate business and system changes that may impact financial and regulatory reporting for TD Insurance.
Main responsibilities:
• Serve as the Finance subject matter expert for business and system changes impacting TD Insurance.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations to assess the impact of changes on existing BAU processes.
• Evaluate downstream impacts on BAU reporting, tools, and systems.
• Provide financial and regulatory reporting guidance to delivery leads and project managers on interdependencies, risks, issues, and key decisions.
• Support change management initiatives, including training, communications, post-implementation planning, and related activities aligned with business strategy.
• Provide backup support for monthly BAU responsibilities, as required.
• Contribute to financial and regulatory reporting activities.
Department Overview:
• This role reports to the Senior Manager.
• The team operates within the Chief Accountant's department at TD Bank.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of finance experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and identify opportunities to add value with minimal oversight.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a responsive manner.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret, synthesize, and communicate complex information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely with diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Copilot.
