Full Job Description
GEICO is searching for a Specialty Requirements Analyst.  This individual assists the business in meeting its objectives and goals by identifying opportunities and driving changes. Additionally, they will understand how work is conducted (processes, procedures, and systems) and, through analysis, determine opportunities and develop solutions. Lastly, they will engage in large complex initiatives and ensure the business architecture governance is addressed in all organizational changes.

Essential Functions:

  • Contributes on project plans and leads project milestones.
  • Develops detailed training and system requirements for implementation.
  • Conducts value analysis and identifies opportunities to improve underwriting results and procedures.
  • Coordinates with intra- and cross-departmental teams to define metrics, guidelines, and strategies for effective use of quantitative and qualitative information for underwriting projects.
  • Interprets technical systems documentation, filings, guidelines and/or other resources to identify root cause and scope.
  • Assesses compliance, reputation, rate/rule filings, guidelines and other impacts and ensures project requirements align with the goals and objectives of the company.
  • Recommends and implements training, process changes, and modifications to business rules, implementation of new technology, or a combination of all four for underwriting projects.
  • Develops use cases for testing/validation pre- and post- implementation. Provides support post-implementation and identifies any additional opportunities to ensure changes are implemented as intended.
  • Leads decision-making forums. Presents and defends recommendations to all levels of the organization in clear business language.
     
  • Understands and supports research of the current state of manual and systems processes related to underwriting decisions and customer interactions.
  • Analyzes standardization, automation, execution, usability, quality, and training when determining solutions and root causes.
  • May assist with interviewing job applicants for employment.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.


 

Annual Salary

$73,800.00 - $141,450.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
