Job Summary
Responsible for developing prime vendor logistics solutions, assessing customer operational needs, and supporting successful account implementation. Partners with sales, distribution, and branch teams to optimize customer programs, drive go-live readiness and ensure operational continuity. Ideal candidates bring healthcare supply chain experience, strong ERP and process improvement knowledge, and the ability to communicate logistics capabilities effectively in both written and presentation settings.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop logistics solutions for potential prime vendor customers.
  • Assess the customer's logistical requirements and match those to operational abilities.
  • Discuss enhancements and alternatives for both internal and external distribution. This will be developed through onsite consultation, business reviews, and studies, which would be developed through this onsite analysis.
  • Assist Local DC Operations and at times local Sales team through the Prime Vendor account go-live process.
  • Help local branch setup, train, and process initial orders.
  • Make sure we comply with phase I objectives.
  • Implement required logistics and branch coordination for new PV deals.
  • Reply to questions in RFPs related to Operational and Logistical capabilities and verbally articulate those in presentation format.
  • Work with appropriate area sales team and management to ensure continuity of customer relationships and profitability.
  • Help to identify best practices existing in the field and then cataloging those into a database for future use.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of Supply Chain experience.
  • Healthcare IDN, GPO or Corporate Account experience.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
  • APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Training preferred.
  • ERP experience.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$79,000.00 - $119,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
