Your Role

As a US HE Sales Excellence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving effective sales execution, maintaining robust pipeline governance, and closely monitoring performance across various business units. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with teams from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Core Systems to ensure every sales team member has access to the necessary insights, tools, and streamlined processes essential for achieving their goals. By facilitating these cross-functional partnerships, you will help empower sales teams to perform at their best and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Accountabilities

Your day-to-day will involve:
  • Pipeline & forecasting support: Assist in managing pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and funnel analytics. Help to identify and lead with Director of Sales Excellence's guidance on prospective improvements. Partner with Sales and RevOps to ensure data integrity and timely updates.
  • Performance reporting: Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track seller performance, KPIs, and OKRs. Provide insights to sales leaders to drive accountability and action. Help to identify and lead on prospective KPI and reporting improvements with Sales Intelligence (e.g. providing requirements, testing, usage and iteration)
  • Sales process execution: Support the rollout and adoption of standardized sales processes, ensuring alignment across business units and geographies
  • Meeting cadence & rhythm of business (RoB): Help coordinate and prepare materials for sales leadership meetings, QBRs, and performance reviews
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across RevOps and the US HE business to ensure seamless execution across the sales funnel
  • Strategic initiative monitoring: Track progress on key initiatives and support the Director of Sales Excellence in driving execution and reporting outcomes

  • Accurate and timely sales performance reporting adopted across business units

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data-driven sales, sales operations, sales excellence, and/or revenue operations
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other analytics/reporting tools including generative AI
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in education, SaaS, or content-driven industries is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.

The full-time salary range for this role is $65,000 - $115,000 .
