Role description
Role Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented QA Tester to ensure the delivery of highquality software applications The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans identifying defects and collaborating with development and product teams to ensure optimal product performance and reliability
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and execute manual andor automated test cases based on business and technical requirements
Analyze requirements user stories and technical specifications for testability and completeness
Identify log track and validate defects using defect management tools eg JIRA Azure DevOps
Perform functional regression integration system and UAT testing
Collaborate with developers product owners and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality
Develop and maintain test plans test scenarios and test scripts
Participate in Agile ceremonies daily standups sprint planning retrospectives
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients if applicable
Validate application performance usability and security aspects where required
Ensure test coverage traceability and documentation accuracy
Mandatory Skills
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle STLC and Defect Life Cycle
Experience with manual testing andor automation testing tools Selenium Cypress Playwright etc
Knowledge of test case design techniques and QA methodologies
Handson experience with bug tracking tools JIRA Bugzilla etc
Basic understanding of SQL for database validation
Familiarity with API testing
Understanding of AgileScrum methodology
