The Opportunity

Join a team at the center of one of WSP's most important growth strategies. As a Specialist, IT M&A People Integration and Workforce Planning, you will help shape how people, talent, and organizational capacity are integrated across acquisitions within Global IT. Working closely with HR, Finance, IT leaders, and integration teams, you'll bring clarity to complex workforce environments, enabling successful transitions while supporting long-term talent and workforce strategies. Your Impact
  • Drive workforce planning activities that support the successful integration of acquired organizations into WSP's Global IT environment.
  • Develop and maintain workforce, headcount, and labour-cost models that provide visibility into talent, organizational structures, and resource requirements.
  • Transform workforce data into actionable capacity plans that support integration schedules, transition planning, and future organizational needs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to coordinate talent assessment activities, retention planning, knowledge-transfer initiatives, and workforce transitions.
  • Monitor workforce-related synergies, labour costs, and integration investments to support informed business decisions and value realization.
  • Produce meaningful workforce reporting, forecasts, and governance materials for senior leadership and integration stakeholders.
  • Identify workforce risks, critical talent dependencies, and capacity constraints while helping teams proactively address challenges.
  • Safeguard highly confidential workforce and compensation information while promoting strong governance, compliance, and operational discipline.


The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 5-8 years of experience in workforce planning, HR business partnering, organizational change, M&A integration, or a related strategic people function.
  • Demonstrated experience handling confidential employee, workforce, and compensation information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong expertise in workforce analytics, labour-cost planning, headcount modelling, forecasting, or benefits realization tracking.
  • Experience supporting resource planning, capacity management, organizational transitions, or transformation initiatives in complex environments.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions without direct authority in matrixed organizations.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and strong analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining large, accurate workforce datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present concise insights to senior leaders.
  • Experience with HRIS, ERP, workforce reporting tools, Power BI, M&A environments, and bilingualism in English and French are considered strong assets.


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
