Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering required.
• Extensive experience with FPGA and PLD programming required; familiarity with Verilog preferred, VHDL a plus.
• Strong proficiency in electrical CAD and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, SPICE).
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, motion control, and power electronics.
• Familiarity with thermal management, high-current system design, and EMI/EMC mitigation best practices.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and industrial equipment certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and validate FPGA code for electro-mechanical systems.
• Provide onsite technical leadership for hardware design and validation.
• Support onsite prototype building.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Maintain and update documentation such as schematics and source code.
• Own regulatory compliance and product certifications through partnership with the regulatory team.
• Participate in sustaining engineering reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
