The Specialist, Business Engagement is a member of the Business Engagement Team and reports to the Business Engagement and Technology Training Manager. This role focuses on gathering information and collaborating with various stakeholders, Technology teams, and Digital Production to design, advise on, and update communication plans and engagement activities that promote the use and adoption of new Firm tools and services. The role contributes to the development of training and communications content by refining key messages, scripting presentations, creating video storyboards and scripts, and helping ensure content is engaging, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Business Engagement Program (Global Support)Work closely with the Business Engagement team, Technology and Innovation leaders, stakeholders, project/product managers, and change management, trainers, and the Digital Production Team to set and support the planning of communications, videos, presentations, and user-engagement efforts to promote the use and adoption of Firm tools and services.
- Assist in the creative process, scripting, and content development for the production and maintenance of presentations, communications, announcements, and other digital content for events that help facilitate and promote technology tools and services.
- Collaborate with the Tech Training Team to promote our technology and AI tools to new joiners.
- Author and edit scripts for video content on new Microsoft and AI tools rolled out to the Firm.
- Collaborate with various teams to plan and publish communications on our internal channels-including Connect, W&CTV, etc.
- Proactively identify opportunities to help engage, promote, and support the Firm through the tools and services that the Firm provides.
- Develop and execute communication plans for Microsoft 365 and other Technology projects.

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing related professional publications.
- Work closely with the Technology trainers and Digital Production team to create digital content.
- Work closely with Firm leadership and other subject matter experts to identify opportunities for the creation of digital content and materials for other communications channels.
The qualifications for this role are:
- Thorough knowledge of IT systems, communication, and service management as acquired through a bachelor's degree in communications, technology, marketing, or business administration or, equivalent work experience.
- Experience scripting and leading the production of digital content.
- Thorough knowledge in various aspects of multimedia communications. Awareness of emerging trends in these fields provide current, impactful, and engaging content for the Firm.
- Aptitude for maintaining a visual story and brand awareness in all assigned tasks.
- Strong writing skills and experience creating and executing communications plans.
- Knowledge of web design tools and techniques, specific knowledge, and experience of designing SharePoint web-content would be advantageous
- Five plus years of progressively responsible work experience with legal or other professional service organizations.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients, and staff.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, with attention to detail, and display a strong client-service ethic.
- Detail and service-oriented collaborator who can be flexible with hours, if necessary, and can work independently.
- Able to travel or work overtime.
The New York salary range for this role is $73,600 - 110,400
