Job Description:An established engineering and consulting firm is seeking
ICC-Certified Special Inspectors to join their team in
San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in the inspection of
reinforced concrete, masonry, steel structures, and/or related construction systems, and must be familiar with structural blueprints and applicable building codes.

Key Responsibilities: - Perform field inspections and testing of reinforced concrete, masonry, post-tension systems, bolting, and/or structural steel
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable ICC codes, project plans, and specifications
- Interpret structural drawings and construction documents with precision
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including daily reports, field notes, test data, and RFIs
- Communicate clearly with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and client representatives
- Follow all company safety protocols and project-specific procedures
Required Qualifications: - Current ICC Certification in Reinforced Concrete (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction inspection
- Ability to read and interpret structural plans and codes
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Certifications (a plus): - ICC Certifications in:
- Masonry
- Post-Tension
- Bolting
- AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
Compensation:$35 - $55/hour, based on experience and certifications
