Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and meaningful support to elementary students in
Philadelphia, PA.Position Overview- Provide individualized special education instruction to K-1 students in an elementary Autistic Support classroom, supporting academic, communication, behavioral, social, and functional skill development.
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and individual learning needs.
- Monitor student progress, maintain required special education documentation, and collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
- Foster a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, independence, positive behavior, and meaningful learning.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania K-12 Special Education Certification
- Experience supporting elementary students with autism and/or in an Autistic Support or self-contained special education setting preferred
