Help every student feel seen, supported, and empowered to learn! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Easton, MD, to support elementary students with diverse learning needs and help them build confidence, independence, and academic success.

Position Overview
  • Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students with diverse learning and developmental needs, including autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments.
  • Deliver services primarily within the general education setting while collaborating with classroom teachers to promote student access, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student growth, inclusion, and successful educational outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and/or language impairments preferred
