Parsons is now hiring and experienced Architectural AutoCAD Specialist with a desire to work on projects that change the urban fabric of our community.

We need our Architectural AutoCAD Specialists to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments and who have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills.

PROJECT:

Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of War to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Parsons is seeking a Space Management Specialist to perform the following:
  • Manage and maintain the client's Master Drawings files using AutoCAD.
  • Conduct Site Surveys verify as-built conditions and incorporate them into the Master Drawings AutoCAD files.
  • Utilize software programs such as Archibus and Smart Client to support the client's compliancy and occupant requirements.
  • Analyze space data sets, reports, and documents.
  • Create and maintain space management, AutoCAD, and various software SOP's.
  • Track and organize facility changes to the AutoCAD data holdings.
  • Coordinates with facilities stakeholders, engineering and construction teams to ensure project data is of the quality require to support the Master Drawings files.
  • Perform AutoCAD projects and other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associated degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or a Construction related field (or equivalent degree) is required with at least 5 years of relevant experience (9 years without a degree)
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
  • Must be US Citizen

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
  • Requires proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and concepts.
  • Knowledge of architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Experience with Archibus, Smart Client, Vault preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design is also required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
