Titre du poste: Spécialiste Technique CFirst

En tant que spécialiste technique, vous vous rapporterez au gestionnaire principale, spécialiste technique du center priorité client (CFirst). Vous serez responsable du service technique après-vente, incluant le soutien d'urgence pour les aéronefs cloués au sol, ainsi que des consultations techniques et d'entretien de base. 

À ce titre, vous offrirez une assistance technique, logistique et commerciale pour les problèmes affectant les moteurs de P&WC en opération afin de maintenir la flotte en vol. 

Le poste est à temps plein sur un horaire de rotation. Les quarts de travail sont requis d’être en présentiel à notre usine de Longueuil, Qc. 

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?

  • Travailler de concert avec les autres organisations de P&WC ainsi que les fournisseurs externes pour s'assurer que les problèmes client sont rapidement résolus.  Exemple : pièces de rechange, moteurs de location, les Programmes, DAA, service investigation, équipe exécutive.  

  • Documenter et s’assurer de l’évolution de chaque dossier à travers CRM (Customer Relationship Management) pour toutes les interactions avec les clients, de leur initiation à la fermeture de chacune d'entre elles.  

  • Faire un suivi avec les clients concernant les événements soulevés afin de remettre en service en moins de 24hr les avions cloués au sol.  

  • Répondre adéquatement et efficacement à toutes demandes urgentes de clients.  

  • Initier les contacts avec les groupes concernés de P&WC lors d'AOG ou de situations urgentes.   

  • Collaborez avec vos collègues et tirez parti de leur expertise et expérience pour approfondir votre connaissance des produits de P&WC. 

  • Etre un joueur clé pour remplir les besoins de main-d’œuvre lorsque requis.  

Qu’est-ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir? 

  • Technique de maintenance d'aéronef avec environ 10 ans d'expérience en assemblage, inspection, bancs d'essais ou maintenance d'aéronef ou un baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou aérospatial 

  • Capacité à travailler en équipe. 

  • Capacité à résoudre des problèmes complexes. 

  • Bonne capacité à apprendre de nouvelles plateformes TI. 

  • Bonne compréhension de l’opération des moteurs à turbine et des aéronefs.​ 

Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: CFirst Technical Specialist

As a Technical Specialist, you will report to the Senior Manager, Technical Specialist of the CFirst Center. You will be responsible for after-sales technical service, including emergency support for grounded aircraft, as well as basic technical consultations and maintenance.

In this role, you will provide technical, logistical, and commercial assistance for issues affecting P&WC engines in operation, ensuring fleet availability.

This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule. On-site presence is required for work shifts at our facilities in Longueil, Qc.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Work closely with other P&WC organizations and external suppliers to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly. Example: spare parts, rental engines, Programs, DAA, service investigation, executive team.

  • Document and track the progress of each case through the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system for all customer interactions, from initiation to closure.

  • Follow up with customers on reported issues to restore grounded aircraft to service within 24 hours.

  • Respond effectively and efficiently to all urgent customer requests.

  • Initiate contact with relevant P&WC groups during AOG or urgent situations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and leverage their expertise and experience to deepen your knowledge of P&WC products.

  • Be a key player in fulfilling workforce needs when required.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Aircraft maintenance technician with a minimum of 10 years of experience in assembly, inspection, test benches, or aircraft maintenance or a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

  • Ability to work in a team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to learn new IT platforms.

  • Good understanding of turbine engine operation and aircraft systems.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
