Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, especially in mechanics and basic electronics.
• Strong skills in supplier relationship management.
• Familiar with agreements and their legal aspects.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership in sourcing.
• Proficient in advanced sourcing practices like eProcurement and should costing.
• Category-specific knowledge including suppliers and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a professional supplier base focused on total cost in North America.
• Drive sourcing and cost development for the component portfolio with team members.
• Perform and support Group RFQs, managing all phases of the process.
• Enhance supplier agreements and monitor compliance with terms and conditions.
• Establish and lead the U.S. Sourcing Area strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Manage supplier capabilities and roadmap, including introduction and phase-out of suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and technology developments to inform sourcing decisions.
