Job Description Summary:Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Sourcing Manager to work with our Sourcing & Vendor Governance department in our Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, Washington, D.C., or downtown Indianapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team performing contract review, redlining, and negotiating legal and business terms with the Firm's third-party vendors for a variety of products and services. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of the Firm's operations team.
Job Description:What you would do:- Lead the acquisition and ongoing management of various vendor-provided products and services
- Assist with managing the ongoing SaaS subscription landscape to deliver consistent, needed services to the Firm while minimizing costs and security risks to the Firm
- Engage with the Vendor Management team and coordinate with other Firm resources to ensure that pre-contract due diligence is performed
- Represent the Sourcing & Vendor Governance department in various RFx and vendor analysis/selection activities with respect to contracting concerns Assist in reviewing and evaluating the ongoing performance of the Firm's strategic vendors
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of service provider costs against contracted rates and the Firm's budget expectations
- Upload fully executed contracts into the Firm's Document Management System
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $140,000.00 - $150,000.00.
Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location where the position is filled, in all cases consistent with applicable law. This is an exempt role and the initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for professional staff, which includes, but is not limited to, a discretionary bonus; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
What is required: - Bachelor's degree, preferably in management, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in sourcing, where negotiation of all legal terms and conditions was a part of the job
- Proficiency in reviewing and redlining complex agreements and a high degree of comfort working from vendor paper
- Understanding of common procurement tools, online or e-Procurement systems
- Juris Doctor degree strongly preferred
