Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
$5k sign on bonus
may float to practices in Altamonte, Oviedo, Winter Park and Tavares as needed
- Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.
- Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies.
- Follows prescribed hospital safety standards and practices sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
- Positions and transfers patients for exams.
- Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.
- Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery.
- Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational actions.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary.
- Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings.
- Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times.
- Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follow the "Standard of Behavior" guidelines per hospital policy. Other duties as assigned.

Field of Study: Work Experience: - 1+ of position-related experience [Required]
Additional Information: - Associate's Degree OR Technical/Vocational School is Required
Licenses and Certifications: - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
