Job Description:

AHMG Vascular Surgery at Altamonte Springs

661 E. Altamonte Drive, Suite 223, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

$5k sign on bonus

may float to other practices as needed

  • Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.
  • Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies.
  • Follows prescribed hospital safety standards and practices sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
  • Positions and transfers patients for exams.
  • Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.
  • Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery.
  • Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational actions.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary.
  • Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings.
  • Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times.
  • Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follow the "Standard of Behavior" guidelines per hospital policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
