About the role

As a Solutions Sales Manager - Advanced Treatment, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding profit margins across assigned accounts and/or territories by promoting Trojan's products and solutions. This role is focused on accelerating the adoption of Trojan's advanced treatment technologies within the municipal market, with a particular emphasis on water reuse, remediation, and emerging contaminant destruction applications.

You will build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders and channel partners, identify new business opportunities, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. Accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets, including revenue, sales volume, and margin objectives.

What you'll do

  • Drive sales and business development for advanced water treatment solutions across the USA and/or Canada.


  • Build relationships with municipal, industrial, consulting engineering, contractor, and channel partner stakeholders.


  • Identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions across advanced treatment technologies.


  • Manage opportunities through discovery, qualification, technical evaluation, proposal development, negotiation, and close.


  • Partner with internal technical and commercial teams to develop strong customer proposals.


  • Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and forecast information in CRM.


  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support growth planning.


  • Represent the business with credibility in customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and technical discussions.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Post-Secondary education plus sales management experience with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales plans. Preference for a strong Engineering Background. Experience with UV or disinfection technology (I.e. Ozone) preferred.


  • 10 year history of growth selling premium-priced product in the municipal capital market


  • Demonstrated skill and experience in managing a territory utilizing a CRM including planning, forecasting, managing and implementing sales plans.


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Technical and/or Sales experience


  • Capability to travel within territory for significant portions of each fiscal year (could be in excess of 60% of the time).

  • The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 CAD per year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
