The Solutions Consultant, Community Pharmacy Solutions serves as a Subject Matter Expert across CPS offerings. This role leads pre-sales engagement activities, supports sales and new business teams, and ensures solutions are positioned in a compelling, value-based manner to independent pharmacies, chains, and buying groups.

The role partners with sales teams, buying group leadership, Brand Management and Engagement leadership, and CPS stakeholders to support new business growth, enable field teams, and capture Voice of the Customer insights that influence solution positioning, commercialization, and future development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Solution Expertise and Sales Support
  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert across CPS solutions currently marketed and sold
  • Support sales and new business teams in customer conversations, discovery, and solution positioning
  • Lead value-based presentations and demonstrations aligned to customer and buying group needs
  • Provide consultative guidance aligning CPS solutions to financial and operational objectives
Buying Group and New Business Engagement
  • Participate in new business presentations to large customers and buying groups
  • Support buying group leadership in selling CPS solutions into their member networks
  • Tailor solution messaging and positioning to buying group dynamics and scale
  • Develop scalable content for group-level and enterprise selling environments
Sales Enablement and Training
  • Train sales teams on CPS solutions, value propositions, and selling strategies
  • Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and presentation assets
  • Ensure sales teams are equipped to position solutions effectively
  • Continuously improve field enablement based on feedback and performance trends
Voice of Customer and Market Insight
  • Lead and support Voice of Customer engagement with buying groups and customers
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for CPS leadership
  • Advise Brand Management and Engagement leadership on solution positioning and messaging
  • Provide market, competitive, and customer intelligence
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as liaison between sales, product, and operational teams
  • Provide structured feedback to drive product enhancements
  • Support commercialization and go-to-market execution
  • Ensure alignment of messaging and solution positioning across stakeholders
Solution Development Support
  • Identify opportunities to enhance solutions based on customer needs
  • Support bundling and integrated solution design
  • Contribute to portfolio innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen how CPS solutions are presented and delivered

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, sales support, product consulting, or related roles
  • Experience in pharmacy, PBM, healthcare services, or related industries preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting sales organizations and customer-facing engagements
  • Experience presenting to large customer groups or buying groups preferred

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
  • Deep understanding of solution selling and value-based presentation techniques
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in both small and large group settings
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
  • Ability to translate customer needs into solution positioning and messaging
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of CPS solutions, pharmacy operations, and buying group dynamics preferred

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/NewYork/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
