Team OverviewThe Services Solution Consultant is responsible for selling our services solutions to public and private school districts in an assigned territory. The Representative's role is to achieve company-designated professional services sales targets, and as part of that prospect, qualify and build relationships with existing customers in their assigned territory. The Representative must be proficient in qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, presenting, and explaining the benefits of PowerSchool Professional Services solutions, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
ResponsibilitiesDescriptionThe Solution Sales team oversees the selling of various product lines to K-12 school districts. Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing revenue.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Using a solution sales approach to sell PowerSchool professional services to K-12 schools
- Product Knowledge - Expand knowledge and maintains continual understanding of designated applications and client business processes. Acts as a subject matter expert for overall Professional Services & the Customer Journey
- Managing and submitting weekly forecasts against assigned quota and leading overall services product solution team goals
- Presentation Execution -Able to lead effective Professional Services sessions to varied audiences and customer roles during the sales process.
- Consulting Skills -Responsible for determining client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added services, products, etc.
- Developing and executing marketing campaigns focusing on specific territory and services offerings
- Communication - Liaises with clients either on-site, by phone or email. Sets project and software expectations. Responds to feedback, resolving any issues in a manner that satisfies the customer while meeting business objectives.
- Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota
- All other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Travel occasionally, up to 25-40%, for key moments such as team summits, training, customer meetings, company events, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
Preferred Qualifications- Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
- MS Office suite products (PPT/Word/Excel)
- Office 365, SharePoint, and other technical collaborative environments
- Previous CRM experience preferred (Salesforce a plus)
- Team player mindset with drive, conviction, and positive energy
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $74,000 - $94,200 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
