Full Job Description
The Opportunity

This is a critical, career-defining opportunity to bridge the strategic gap between executive business vision and flawless technical execution for our most valued enterprise clients. You will serve as the elite technical authority, defining the architectural blueprint ("the How") that prevents unscalable, fragmented code and ensures every complex integration aligns perfectly with our customers' Value Validation Plans (VVPs). Join a team that is the tip of the spear for a modernized engineering engine, tackling high-stakes architectural challenges alongside a centralized development team.
What You'll Do

You will operate as a continuous "technical co-founder" for our largest enterprise accounts, driving architectural strategy post-go-live. Your expertise will be integral to FDE Agile Pods, where you'll design intricate solutions that efficiently consume delivery time within FDE Tiers or ETS hours, without the administrative burden of SOW budgets or implementation timelines. This role moves beyond project-based configurations, empowering you to solve the most complex, high-stakes architectural challenges and shape the long-term technical health and success of our global partners. You will be instrumental in modernizing our engineering engine, working with an elite centralized development team to build enterprise-grade SaaS solutions that set new industry benchmarks.
The Skills You'll Have

Enterprise Systems Architecture & Blueprinting
  • Design robust programmatic integrations and custom workflows for complex enterprise challenges.
  • Produce highly detailed Technical Design Documents (TDDs) that enable developers to achieve near-zero defect rates in UAT.
  • Articulate complex API integrations end-to-end, showcasing your profound design expertise.
  • Introduce and champion advanced, scalable design patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, microservices) to elevate our technical baseline.
  • Ensure every architectural blueprint aligns seamlessly with customer Value Validation Plans (VVPs) for long-term stability and impact.
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and quickly ramp up to the Sitetracker product and how it is being leveraged by customers you work with.
  • Be comfortable working in an AI enabled team and environment using tools like Cursor, Claude for day to day tasks like building design documentation, requirement documentation, code etc
  • Able to quickly translate general AI concepts to Scout - Sitetracker's own AI platform and roll out Scout to customers to solve for their business needs

Strategic Technical Consultation (The "Challenger")
  • Partner with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to strategically translate executive business ROI into robust technical blueprints.
  • Confidently challenge inefficient or highly custom customer requests, advocating for scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Propose simpler, declarative workarounds that achieve identical business KPIs while drastically reducing delivery hours.
  • Act as a trusted "Technical Co-Founder" to enterprise executives, influencing their long-term technical strategy and vision.
  • Articulate the complex ROI of technical solutions, such as an API payload, to non-technical C-suite leaders with compelling clarity.

Platform Governance & Post-Go-Live Stability
  • Enforce rigorous coding, integration, and configuration standards for uncompromising long-term platform health.
  • Adhere strictly to CI/CD pipelines and actively participate in code reviews, ensuring the highest code quality and integrity.
  • Manage complex, live enterprise environments without introducing regressions or accumulating technical debt.
  • Proactively build global governance frameworks and automated QA testing gates to elevate platform stability at scale.
  • Implement zero-defect release protocols to protect mission-critical production environments and ensure continuous uptime.

Agile Pod Execution & Developer Guidance
  • Operate seamlessly within FDE Agile Pods, translating architectural epics into actionable development stories.
  • Effectively hand off intricate technical designs to the centralized development pool, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Proactively unblock developers during sprints, ensuring consistent velocity and swift problem resolution.
  • Act as a trusted technical mentor, guiding and elevating the expertise of the development team within your pod.
  • Refine intake and handoff processes, quantifiably increasing development team sprint velocity and overall output efficiency.

Within 90 Days, You'll

  • Quickly ramp up and master existing complex functionality built over multiple years, leveraging this knowledge in customer interactions.
  • Produce your first highly detailed Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for a strategic customer, contributing to successful Customer UAT with minimal defects.
  • Begin actively partnering with TAMs to define preliminary migration strategies for legacy Tier 1 (ETS) customers.

Within 180 Days, You'll

  • Consistently deliver flawless TDDs, enabling your Agile Pod's development pool to hit sprint velocity commitments with a near-zero defect rate.
  • Successfully partner with TAMs to define and initiate the migration strategy for at least one legacy Tier 1 (ETS) customer onto the FDE Subscription model.
  • Identify and begin architecting a major enterprise integration or advanced workflow with a clear path to reusability across top-tier accounts.

Within 365 Days, You'll

  • Become the definitive technical authority for Strategic (Tier 5) and Advanced (Tier 4) customers, consistently preventing architectural pitfalls and ensuring long-term scalability.
  • Drive the successful migration of multiple legacy Tier 1 (ETS) customers, proving the massive value of dedicated, proactive architectural strategy and accelerating adoption of the new FDE Subscription model.
