Job Description

HIRING: Solution Architect (Remote | CST Hours) - No sponsorship, Full Time Role
  • High-impact role shaping the agent ecosystem within a major enterprise
  • No hands-on coding - pure architecture, documentation, and strategic POCs

The Opportunity:

We're hiring a Solution Architect to lead the technical direction for systems that support insurance agents - onboarding, licensing, servicing, and more - primarily built in Salesforce (including AgentSync). You'll own architectural strategy, integration design, and long-term platform direction.

This is a highly strategic role with a focus on scoping, planning, and architecture - not execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Architect clean, future-proof solutions across agent systems
  • Drive Salesforce integration strategy using APIs, events, and cloud services
  • Partner with business/product leaders to align technical strategy with outcomes
  • Guide development teams, mentor others, and review complex designs
  • Help push modernization efforts forward - real-time data, scalable architecture, better experience

This architect, in layman terms will:

  • Design how all the agent-related systems connect and work together(Salesforce, databases, APIs, cloud tools).
  • Make sure the systems scale welland support things like fast onboarding and smooth agent experience.
  • Guide engineering teamsand influence long-term architecture choices (what tools to use, how data flows, etc.).
  • Support modernization, likely moving away from clunky legacy systems to more event-driven, cloud-native solutions.

Tech Stack Includes:

  • Salesforce (AgentSync, Data Cloud, Platform Events)
  • Event-driven tools like Kafka / Confluent
  • Azure, Snowflake, MuleSoft, REST APIs, CI/CD in Azure DevOps

Agents are the backbone of the company's business. This role directly impacts how fast and efficiently agents get onboarded and supported - which drives revenue. The architect will be working cross-functionally with business leaders, product teams, and senior engineers to make sure systems align with our client's long-term goals.

Compensation:

  • $150K base target
  • 13% annual bonus (target - exceeded the past 4+ years)
  • 17% in stock, vested over 3 years on base + bonus
  • Recent years have paid out 20%+ for both bonus and equity

Location: Remote (must align to CST hours)

Perks:

  • Early out Fridays (2PM CST)
  • 10 holidays + 20 PTO days + sick time
  • Strong emphasis on work-life balance

Interview Process: 3 steps

Timeline: Hiring ASAP

Preferred (but not required):

  • Salesforce Financial Cloud experience
  • Salesforce certifications
