Solution Architect 1 - ERP & Financials

Location: Remote, USA

Hybrid to Wayne, PA or Naperville, IL a plus

How you'll contribute to our mission

As a Solution Architect I, you will serve as a trusted advisor and product advocate for Frontline's ERP and financial management solutions. Partnering closely with our Sales team, you'll help school district finance, HR, and payroll leaders envision how our technology can simplify complex budgeting, accounting, and compliance processes by creating better outcomes for their business offices and, ultimately, their students.

You will guide prospective customers through thoughtful discovery conversations and compelling demonstrations that connect their real-world challenges to meaningful solutions. By blending preparation, storytelling, and technical fluency, you'll help educators see what's possible - and how Frontline can support their goals.

How you'll drive success
  • Design and deliver engaging, tailored software demonstrations that clearly reflect each district's unique financial and operational priorities.
  • Lead discovery conversations that uncover business, budgeting, and payroll challenges and align solutions to measurable impact.
  • Craft compelling narratives that highlight value, outcomes, and long-term partnership.
  • Partner with Sales to position the broader Frontline ERP platform as a connected, strategic solution.
  • Represent Frontline at conferences, workshops, and events (including finance- and business-office-focused events such as ASBO) as a knowledgeable and approachable ambassador.
  • Support RFIs and RFPs by translating customer needs into clear, solution-oriented responses.
  • Share insights from the field with Product Management to continuously strengthen our offerings and presales resources.
  • Continuously refine your approach by learning new tools, exploring emerging technologies, and applying innovative ways to elevate the customer experience.


What you bring to help us grow
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, or Payroll, ideally within K-12, higher education, or public sector environments.
  • Experience supporting ERP or financial SaaS solutions through sales, consulting, or technical roles.
  • Experience working with TX or CA public school regulations.
  • Familiarity with state account code structures and pension reporting (e.g., SACS, PEIMS/FASRG, PERS/STRS/TRS) is a strong plus
  • Confidence delivering software demonstrations and facilitating consultative conversations.
  • Ability to research district priorities and translate findings into personalized, value-based messaging.
  • Experience managing CRM workflows and contributing to structured proposal processes.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% to support customer engagement and field events.

Compensation & Benefits

The full base compensation range for this position is $90,000-100,000 + variable compensation up to $20,000. Frontline offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary and bonus eligibility aligned to performance. Additional benefits include 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health coverage, personalized PTO, and tuition reimbursement for eligible coursework.
