Description
EOA Technologies is seeking a
Software Tool Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process.
- Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management.
- Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architectures.
- Shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure.
- Shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues
- Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
- Maintain the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- IAT Level 1 Certification
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
- Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting
- Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
- Experience with load balancing technologies
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools (Ansible)a plus
- Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer.
- Eight (8) years' experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
- Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator, or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Desired:- DNS experience with an understanding of administration of Infoblox
- Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
- In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
