Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend software productivity tools for Key Management
  • Develop and maintain installations and configurations for productivity tools
  • Create and update technical documentation related to software tools
  • Perform regular backups of software productivity tools databases
  • Monitor and manage software tools licenses and associated media
  • Install and integrate software productivity tools like IBM/Rational and HP Service Manager
  • Provide consulting and training to project personnel on tool use
  • Integrate tools with existing and proposed project processes

Full Job Description
The Software Tool Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure.In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other support teams are identified as part of a solution to identify, engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.

Description:
  • Participate int the research, analysis and recommendation of software productivity tools to support Key Management development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain software productivity tools installations, integrations, development and configuration plans.
  • Develop, tailor and maintain associated technical documentation for software productivity tools.
  • Perform regular backup of software productivity tools databases, datasets and files.
  • Monitor, track, and manage software productivity tools, licenses, and associated media.
  • Install, integrate, develop, customize and configure software productivity tools (e.g. IBM/Rational Tools, HP Service Manager) in support of Key Management efforts.
  • Provide consulting, training and hands-on experience to project personnel to include Key Management personnel in the use of software tools.
  • Integrate software productivity tools to implement existing and proposed project processes in use.

  • Must have excellent writing skills
