Description:Experience required to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems including the design, development, and maintenance of test plans/cases/processes, the creation and maintenance of test environments and automated test capabilities, the performance of Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing, and the reporting and tracking of problems through their resolution. Knowledge of test automation using Python, performance/load/stress testing, data interface testing, user interface testing, security testing, code coverage tools, and systems integration testing. Experience related to the installation, configuration, management, and enhancement of software applications, LINUX systems, and connected network components.
Required Qualifications:The Software Test Engineer has responsibility for supporting full life cycle testing efforts of comparable size and scope to the efforts detailed in this SOW.Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports.
- Designs, develops, and implements test plans, test cases, and test processes
- Designs, develops, and maintains suites of automated tests
- Performs Integration & Testing activities and Acceptance Testing activities
- Builds test environments
- Creates and maintain test environment for automated software testing
- Experience with at least four (4) of the following knowledge areas:
- Test automation development (or demonstrated development experience) Performance/load/stress testing; Data interface testing, User interface testing, Security testing, Code coverage tools, Systems integration testing
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Educations, Training, and Certifications: - Six (6) years of experience as a STE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
- Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a degree.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).Salary: COMING SOON
