Job Summary: The Software Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and testing of systems group procedures. This role serves as a product technical resource that performs a variety of tasks in network administration, and desktop support. The successful candidate would test configuration code and write technical documents exercising a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Reporting Relationship: Director, Software Systems

Shift: General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

• Implement and test configuration procedures for Windows Operating Systems and applications
• Configure and manage test systems as needed
• Work with hardware that is located on ScriptPro campus
• Use automated testing tools to test ScriptPro products
• Perform security scans of systems
• Write technical documents
• Work in agile teams using agile methodologies and framework
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or 2-4 years equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting client Windows OS and servers
• 1+ years' experience writing technical documents
• Experience with computer hardware and peripherals
• Ability to work Independently with little supervision
• Detail-oriented with clear verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills
• Extremely collaborative, adaptable, and an effective team member

Remote Work Requirements:

• Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
• Must have a distraction free home office workspace
• Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
