As a Software Developer you will be responsible for the development of embedded code tied to the robotic pipeline. You will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure our software algins to the needs of our hardware and firmware needs. You will utilize technologies such as C++, Linux, Altium, and MPLAB.
How You'll Create ImpactEssential duties and responsiblites: - Build & deploy software for medical devices in a production environment
- Develop algorithms to analyze and interpret the data from different devices
- Work with other teams to coordinate requirements and hardware development
- Adhere to the highest standards of coding in a regulated environment
- Participate in rigorous testing and code reviews
- Create design documents & follow regulatory procedures and guidelines
What Makes You Stand OutKey Competencies: - Experience in the Medical Device industry
- UI Development with Qt
- Experience with IEC 62304 software development cycle for medical devices
- Experience with TCP/IP or UDP over Ethernet or serial communication
- Strong knowledge of C++ programming skills and CMake
- Embedded Software experience
- Highly experienced in Linux
- Experience with container (docker or podman)
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms, familiarity with version control systems
Your BackgroundRequired:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with embedded software projects
- 3+ years of expereince working with C++ and Linux
- Altium or MPLAB experience
- Medical Device Experience
Preferred: - Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Robotics experience
- IEC 60601 safety testing knowledge
