Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support for High Performance Computing (HPC) software to maintain operational capability of HPC systems.
  • Support UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems along with desktop applications, servers, and networks relevant to mission objectives.
  • Integrate and configure a variety of software and systems within a heterogeneous operating environment.
  • Compile web-based and system-based applications, ensuring smooth operations and enhancements.
  • Perform systematic troubleshooting to resolve software and system issues efficiently.
  • Manage installations and maintenance of HPC schedulers and resource management tools.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and enhance system performance.

Description:
Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.

The Level 4 Software Integration Engineer must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.
  • Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):
    • Linux Shell scripting
    • Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
    • Python Programming
    • GCC compiler
    • Multi-threaded software
    • Parallel processing
    • CORBA, J2EE
    • Perl or JavaScript
    • Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
    • Structured troubleshooting skills
    • System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years demonstrable experience (with a degree, or 15 without) with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Salary: $235,000 - $245,000 (Annually)
Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
