We are seeking Software Engineers to provide technical expertise for software development and sustainment of DoD systems, subsystems and components. Software activities consist of architecture evaluation, code inspection, process and standards management, testing oversight, and change request management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESExpected to mentor and direct a team of software engineers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for interpreting requirements
- Write, debug, maintain and test software for a variety of different projects across multiple platforms
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field
- Six (6) years of related experience
- Knowledge and ability in a variety of software engineering principles and concepts
- Ability to work independently and act as a team lead
- Ability to interface with stakeholders, perform management functions, and develop requisite reports
- Experience working with Agile methodology and Jira project management tool.
PREFERREED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's Degree in a computer related field

- Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer screen, using hands and fingers
