Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our Nextest division to lead a software development team focused on delivering high-quality solutions for digital instruments on Teradyne's flagship platforms. This role is responsible for guiding the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of software while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Engineering Manager will partner closely with stakeholders to drive execution, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of critical projects.
  • Lead milestone-based development schedules to ensure high-quality software delivery within time and budget.
  • Develop functional specifications and design documentation aligned with system and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to define and refine software requirements for new features.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive progress on time-critical projects.
  • Support execution by monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting status to leadership.
  • Partner with stakeholders to unblock challenges and align on delivery strategies.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure strong technical knowledge of ATE systems to effectively address customer-impacting issues.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $182,300 - $291,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
