Standard Job DescriptionPlans, conducts, and coordinates software-development activities. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures adherence to software standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Software Integration Engineer, you will drive the full technology-development lifecycle-from system and software design to automation tooling, infrastructure upgrades, and seamless software integration. You will work across diverse host environments, including aircraft software, high-fidelity simulators, and lab setups that combine constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system-level models.
Core Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, support, and debug cutting-edge software across multiple platforms.
Own and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds are fast, reliable, and reproducible.
Champion virtual development labs and aircraft-software workflows, keeping them agile and user-friendly.
Design and build automation frameworks using open-source, commercial, and in-house tools, experimenting with the latest technologies.
Participate daily in scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos, sharing progress and insights with the team.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Experience developing software on Linux
• Experience with simulation software Environments
• Experience programming in C++ and/or Java
Desired Skills• Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Experience with Real-time software development and integration
• Experience programming in Python
• A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems
• Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons
• Experience with Open Mission Systems
• Experience leading software projects
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
