Job Title: Software Engineer [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Job Location: Santa Clara, CA Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Santa Clara, CA is $149,365 - $184,200.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Design, develop, and implement specialized software for the industry-leading Calibre products in Siemens Industry Software Inc. for computational geometry, high-performance computing (HPC), and semiconductor manufacturing applications. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality and performance of software tools across various HPC platforms, including parallel GPU systems. Develop and optimize advanced data structures and algorithms in optical proximity correction (OPC) and collaborate with a diverse team to deliver highly robust, scalable, and production-ready solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Work with other teams like product management, quality assurance, marketing, and customer support to obtain information on functional specs, performance requirements, delivery schedules and testing procedures within time and cost constraints. [Onsite role.] Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer- related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 1. Programming languages, including C/C++. 2. GPU programming frameworks. 3. Software development tools, including Git and Make. 4. Parallel processing software architecture design and implementation. 5. Software debugging in production environment.
