Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and highly skilled software engineer to join the QuestaSim (Simulation) R&D team at Siemens EDA. In this role, you will develop cutting-edge algorithms and software design/architecture for industry-leading simulation tools. You'll contribute to the development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment alongside senior engineers, you'll solve complex software problems and apply your technical expertise to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality software solutions.

QualificationsRequired - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution
- 1-3 years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, data structures, and algorithms
- Expertise in compiler concepts and optimizations
- Experience working on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results
Preferred - Basic knowledge of digital electronics and concepts related to SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL
- Familiarity with parallel algorithms and job distribution techniques
- Exposure to simulation or formal-based verification methodologies

Employment is contingent on either verifying U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The pay range for this position is $73,800 - $1,32,800 annually with a target incentive of 3-5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
