The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior API Developer to join the AML Technology team, supporting critical AML applications. This role offers an opportunity to take on development, drive integration strategies, and contribute to the ongoing modernization of our application ecosystem.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure APIs, while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

What will we expect from you?

  • Work on design, development, and optimization of SQL Server database components, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts supporting enterprise applications and reporting.
  • Own troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of data-related issues across ad-hoc queries, ETL processes, and production environments.
  • Design and develop scalable Python-based solutions for data processing, automation, and ETL workflows, ensuring performance and maintainability.
  • Architect and implement ETL solutions, including staging layers, transformations, and handling of complex data scenarios such as slowly changing dimensions and high-volume data processing.
  • Apply data warehousing concepts and multi-dimensional data modeling to build scalable, high-performance data platforms.
  • Define and maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and integration standards to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and process improvement across data pipelines and operational processes.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with enterprise technology standards, security controls, regulatory requirements, and AML compliance obligations.
  • Act as a key contributor during production incidents, releases, and change management activities, ensuring stability and minimal business impact.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment through strong communication, accountability, and professionalism.
